About the Project
Kaars is a luxury candle brand inspired by nature, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. The project focused on creating a refined brand identity, packaging, and promotional materials that capture the brand’s artisanal essence. The goal was to design a visual language that conveys sophistication while maintaining an organic, handcrafted appeal. The project involved branding elements such as product packaging, print materials, in-store signage, and merchandise, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
My Role
I was responsible for the full creative direction and execution, developing the brand identity and visual assets from concept to final design. This included designing the Kaars logotype and typography system, blending contemporary elegance with a natural aesthetic. The product packaging was crafted to highlight the premium quality of the candles, featuring intricate illustrations, refined colour palettes, and a mix of modern and vintage-inspired layouts. I also designed promotional print materials, including an A-board display, a grand opening poster, and in-store signage, ensuring a cohesive brand experience. To further enhance the brand’s identity, I created a series of tote bag designs featuring hand-drawn elements that reflect the botanical and nature-inspired themes of the candle scents.
